☞ Taking bookings for 2024 & 2025 ceremonies.
▷ From 18th February 2022;
Anyone can attend a wedding, funeral or place of worship:
- You are not required to be fully vaccinated or carry vaccination evidence.
- Face masks are not required for indoor premises.
- COVID-19 Safe Check-in is not required at places of worship, funerals, memorial services, or gatherings afterwards.
➢ From 18 February 2022, there are no restrictions for singing and dancing at hospitality venues.
➢ Standing while drinking is permitted but it is strongly discouraged by NSW Health.

▷ The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released Australian marriage statistics in November 2019 for the previous year. They show that “In 2018 there were 119,188 marriages in Australia, up 6,234 (5.5%) compared to 2017, the median age at marriage was 32.4 years for males and 30.5 years for females, 79.7% of males and 81.0% of females married for the first time and four out of five (79.7%) marriages were performed by a civil celebrant”. ▷ On 9 December 2017, the Marriage Amendment (Definition and Religious Freedoms) Act 2017 will commence. The Act changes the definition of marriage and provides for marriage equality in Australia. They show that “The number of marriages increased in 2014 by 2,238 (1.9%)”. “Civil celebrants have overseen the majority of marriages since 1999 and the proportion of marriage ceremonies overseen by a civil celebrant increased again to 74.1 per cent of all marriages in 2014”.
